Review: Moonlight by Lisa Kessler

Rancher Adam Sloan is more than meets the eye. As the heir to his Pack, the sexy werewolf's biggest challenge is keeping his kin's true nature under wraps. But a group of jaguar shifters threatens to reveal the pack, blasting into town killing humans in plain sight. And when he smells one at the local diner, his standing orders are to take her out.

Lana Turpin doesn't realize she's a moving target. Raised in the foster system, she only knows that she blacks out during the new moon and wakes up without remembering a thing. But now she's being tracked by some strange organization that wants her back--even though she's never stepped foot inside their compound. And the stranger across the diner is watching her like an enemy.

It should be a simple mission for Adam, but when he touches the frustratingly beautiful Lana, his inner wolf howls...mate. Now, the two must find and stop the people who hunt her...and Adam must keep his own family from killing the only woman he will ever love.

When I first started reading this book, I was not sure if I would like it. It turned out I was wrong because I love it! Ms Kessler had my heart breaking for Lana, who just wanted a family and a home. The chemistry she created between Adam and Lana was off the charts. I wanted everything to work for them. The Moon series is filled with adrenaline and a hot read. It's a great addition to Miss Kessler already stellar book list.

When Adam goes into the Diner, he meets Lana. I had to laugh when he said that he smelt her from outside. She is confused by his words, when he tells her that she smells like Jaguar. She thinks this hot guy she just met is crazy. When they are attacked in the Diner, he helps her get away and follows her. He takes pictures of her when she turns into a Jaguar, to prove he was right. When they touch, Adam realizes that his Wolf has found his mate. It turns out that it is a Jaguar and she is considered the enemy of his pack. Adam and Lana must work together to uncover her past and keep each other safe from other Jaguars and Wolves.
