4/5 Review: The Exhibitionist by Tara Sue Me

She’s ready for even more.…
When Abby West discovered her submissive desires, she felt like she was born anew. But lately, her Dominant husband hasn’t been the demanding Master who once fulfilled her every passion. Abby begins to crave something else—and to wonder if Nathaniel can still push her past her boundaries to the places she craves.

Nathaniel knows that Abby belongs to him completely, but even he can’t ignore the pleasure on her face as they get to know their new BDSM group. They’ve invited Nathaniel to guide their group to a new level, and he’s promised to show them the way, even as he recommits to fulfilling his beautiful submissive wife’s every desire. Only this time, uncovering her sexual limits may also expose their relationship to more conflict than it can withstand.…

**********
Let me start by saying that communication is everything!

Nathaniel and Abby are both Dom and Sub as well as Husband and Wife.  They are completely in love.  Their lack of communication is what brings upon the issues they face in this story.  Abby finds herself wanting others to watch her.  It excites her and arouses Nathaniel.  She is extremely jealous, however, of her one of Nathaniel's employees. She doesn't trust her and that starts arguments between the two.  Nathaniel feels that with Abby's growing obsession with exhibition, he may not be able to give her what she needs.  All of these issues could have been avoided if they had spoken of their feelings instead of trying to please one another.  Compromise is a huge deal.  It is necessary for a marriage to work especially one involving BDSM.

I truly enjoyed reading this story and know that I need to go back and read their initial story.  I recommend this to all.  It has steamy scenes, touchy scenes, it practically has it all.

5/5 Review: The Bourbon Kings by J.R. Ward

For generations, the Bradford family has worn the mantle of kings of the bourbon capital of the world. Their sustained wealth has afforded them prestige and privilege—as well as a hard-won division of class on their sprawling estate, Easterly. Upstairs, a dynasty that by all appearances plays by the rules of good fortune and good taste. Downstairs, the staff who work tirelessly to maintain the impeccable Bradford facade. And never the twain shall meet.

For Lizzie King, Easterly’s head gardener, crossing that divide nearly ruined her life. Falling in love with Tulane, the prodigal son of the bourbon dynasty, was nothing that she intended or wanted—and their bitter breakup only served to prove her instincts were right. Now, after two years of staying away, Tulane is finally coming home again, and he is bringing the past with him. No one will be left unmarked: not Tulane’s beautiful and ruthless wife; not his older brother, whose bitterness and bad blood know no bounds; and especially not the ironfisted Bradford patriarch, a man with few morals, fewer scruples, and many, many terrible secrets.

As family tensions—professional and intimately private—ignite, Easterly and all its inhabitants are thrown into the grips of an irrevocable transformation, and only the cunning will survive.

I love J.R. Ward and will read anything that she writes. I have read  Black Dagger Brotherhood & The Fallen Angels series several times. There is no doubt that she can tell one heck of a story. I actually read the book twice, reason being that it was hard to get into the first time, but I think that was because I am used to reading the Black Daggerhood Series. The second time I read it, I was able to appreciate  the Characters ,especially Lane. This book has the making of a night time soap opera such as Dynasty!!!  It has everything that makes a good book, Cheating husbands & wives, Injured heirs, Arranged marriages, Death, Lies, and when I say Lies, I do mean LIES!!! The Characters are spoiled, over-indulged, self-absorbed adults surrounded by incredible wealth. Like I said a Perfect Night Time Soap Opera.

If I  could give this book 10 stars, I would. I have anticipated the release of J.R. Ward's latest book for what seems like forever. I was not disappointed. I won't give a synopsis since others already have. I'll just say that I loved every minute I spent reading this novel and haven't stopped thinking about the characters all day. My only regret is that I finished it too fast the first time. This book was good, laughed, cried, goosebumps, sometimes I couldn’t put it down and other times I could. The thing I loved most about this book was the dynamics between the family . You know that feeling when you finish a book and want to know every single thing about the characters after the book finishes?  I loved the sappy stuff, I loved the bad times and the good times. I loved it all. Definitely will read this series!

5/5 Review: Immortal by J.R. Ward

The Creator invented the game, and the stakes are nothing less than the fate of the quick and the dead: seven souls, seven crossroads. Reluctant savior Jim Heron has compromised himself, his body and his soul, and yet he’s on the verge of losing everything...

...Including Sissy, the innocent he freed from Hell. Jim’s determined to protect her—but this makes her a weakness the demon Devina can exploit. With Jim torn between the game and the woman he’s sworn to defend, evil’s more than ready to play dirty.

Humanity’s savior is prepared to do anything to win—even embark on a suicide mission into the shadows of Purgatory. True love is Jim’s only hope for survival—and victory. But can a man with no heart and no soul be saved by something he doesn’t believe in?

Now THIS is paranormal romance! Action, drama, suspense, wit and more intriguing supernatural beings than we could hope for and becomes one of the best paranormal romances ever. This is an amazing addition to this wonderful series, one with plenty of well-rounded secondary characters to carry on what begins here. Jim is at once a rough, anti-hero alpha and achingly caring and sexy. He's very complex and he couldn't be better complimented by Sissy's sweet, yet not-so-biddable nature. She's weak in the beginning, yes, but morphs into a powerful, kick butt type the longer she interacts with our hero. She's smart, witty and possesses a timeless grace that others around her can only dream of possessing. I hate that Devina is gone,I think she would have been a great match for Jim. This is a very fresh, very consuming addition to the world of paranormal romance. Very much worth as many rereads as the book itself can handle.
Overall, it's a wonderful read! And it wasn't bogged down with sex--it had just the right amount. I loved the characters and this book makes me look forward to the next one, so I'll see how it goes from here! I would definitely recommend this book to Sherrilyn Kenyon fans or any other paranormal romance fans! I really love the concept of of Angels and Demons.
