Cast of Characters:
ALL HE WANTS by C. C. Gibbs
July 9, 2013 PaperbackDominic Knight always get what he wants. Kate Hart is determined to stay cool and professional—no matter how hot and bothered her new boss makes her feel. But when he comes to her in the night, so begins a journey of erotic awakening and discovery. From the sultry red-light district of Amsterdam to the private sexual playgrounds of Hong Kong, Kate will surrender every part of herself to give her lover all he craves, all he needs, and all he demands...
Readers have sent me lots of pictures of gorgeous men they think could be Dominic. But it’s hard to find just the right one when you have an image in your mind of your own perfect character. I’d have to leave it to the casting director and then I’d probably still end up grumbling.
THIS MAN CONFESSED by Jodi Ellen Malpas
July 2, 2013 E-BookAva and Jesse are getting married. While Ava understands she’ll never tame Jesse—and wouldn’t want to—she believes his troubles are now behind him. But on what should be the happiest day of her life, Ava is faced with new problems. Her brother is determined to make her see that Jesse isn’t the man she thinks he is. Could there be truth to his words? Has Ava bound herself to a man who will take her to the edge of ecstasy—or to the brink of despair?
Jodi Ellen Malpas:
It’s common knowledge that I keep ‘my’ Jesse inspiration (in looks, anyway) to myself. I think it’s important for my reader to conjure up their own ideal image. They may think my Jesse is hideous. He’s not, of course, but people’s tastes vary. I can, however, tell you four of the other characters I’d cast.
Big John – The late Michael Clark Duncan. I adored him. Next to Jesse and Ava, Big John was so clear in my mind. MCD fits him perfectly, even down to the voice.
Clive – Bob Hoskins
Cathy – Julie Walters
Sarah – Patsy Kensit
SLOW SURRENDER by Cecilia Tan NOW IN PRINT!
August 6, 2013 PaperbackFrom the moment waitress Karina meets him in a New York bar, she knows James is different. Though he hides his true identity from her, James anticipates her every desire and fulfills her secret fantasies. What begins as an erotic game soon escalates to a power play that blurs the line between pleasure and pain. Even as she capitulates to James’s sensual demands, Karina craves more. She wants his heart, his soul. She wants his love…and she’ll break all the rules to get it.
In my mind, David Bowie from around the time of The Hunger could play the part of James. Several readers have suggested Benedict Cumberbatch, if blond, and I could definitely see him excelling in the role. My perfect Karina hasn't been found yet, but there was a photo shoot of Emma Watson recently that opened my eyes! She's really grown up now!
James - David Bowie Or Benedict Cumberbatch
Karina - Emma Watson
