Review: Dangerous Refuge by Elizabeth Lowell

Tanner is a hard-edged city cop who has to go home to the Davis family ranch to settle his deceased uncle's estate. Shaye Townsend wants to preserve the Davis homestead, as its her job with an environmental conservancy. The uncle's death throws these two opposites together, their tempers get out of control and the chemistry between them becomes intense. Neither of them agree with the other except on one thing...the truth.
Using their own unique skills, they share long nights to gain justice. Love is ignited that neither of them expected to find. When Shaye becomes to killer's next victim, Tanner knows he will do everything to protect her...including risking his own life.
Nothing is more hot than two opposite people coming together and falling in love. They say the best kind of love is formed that way and Elizabeth Lowell's book did just that. It was amazingly well written, lots of twists and turns. You never knew what was coming next on the following page. Tanner is so yummy you wished you were Shaye and felt everything she did. Romance and thriller brings the most amazing stories and makes you want to go back for more...and to re-read the book over and over again.
