Desperate to fulfill her ailing grandfather's last wish to see her settle down and get married, Emma Wiggins, a 30-year-old, career-focused executive tells him a little white lie on his deathbed that she is in fact engaged--to her boss, deliciously handsome and emotionally unavailable, Evan Fletcher.

The situation takes an unexpected turn when her grandfather's condition improves slightly and to her shock, he goes ahead and arranges a wedding ceremony at his hospital bedside before he passes on. Now, all Emma has to do is convince unsuspecting, commitment-phobic Evan to tie the knot with her in seven days. Can love blossom in the most unlikely situation?

 Interview Questions
1.    What is one of your favorite Myths/legends to write about?

Thanks for having me on your blog. I don’t write about myths and legends but I am fascinated by Greek mythology.

2.    If you could live back in time, what time period would you choose and why?
I think the 1970s. It seemed like a fun era. I love 70s music, 70s TV shows and the fashion back then.
3.    Have you ever come across a song that might fit the theme of one of your books?

Yes, Christopher Cross’s Arthur’s Theme (Best That You Can Do). That’s such a beautiful ballad. It speaks about falling in love in New York City and the song (partially based in New York) was mentioned a couple times in my book.
4.    What was the most creative pick up line you've ever used on someone or someone used on you?

Well, while in university, a guy once told me he wanted the directions to my heart.
5.    When writing do you have a playlist of music you like to listen to? What are a couple songs on it?

Yes, I do. A couple of songs are One Fine Day (The Chiffons) and We Belong Together (Mariah Carey).
6.    What do you do when you think nobody is watching?

Hmm…I twirl my hair a lot. Please don’t ask me why.
7.    What was your favorite childhood book?

There were so many but I always loved books with adventure. Tons of adventure!
8.    What is your favorite addition to chocolate?

Honey and Whipped Cream. Mmm.
9.    Besides your own, what is one of your favorite series to keep up with?

There’s too many to narrow down to one but I love books with romantic themes and a bit of suspense to keep me turning the pages.
10.    What do you think you would be doing if you weren't writing?

I honestly don’t know. I’ve been writing stories since early grade school. No matter what career path I’ve chosen, writing has always been a part of what I do (whether at work or after work). J
