Taming a Wild Scot by Rowan Keats

I love big and brawny Scots and thankfully this book had quite a few to whet my appetite. I stayed up all night reading this book because I just had to find out what was going to happen between Niall and Ana. Ana has an amazing skill and I was kept on the edge of my seat hoping the villagers would accept their good fortune in having her as opposed to questioning her skills.

I loved how protective Niall was and how utterly Alpha-male he was. The intrigue and the action of this is book kept me engaged from start to finish and I loved the historical detail so beautifully woven in as a fabulous backdrop to all the meetings of the lovers.

I will admit that this book differed from the usual Scottish tales I enjoy so much but was completely enjoyable nonetheless. I prefer my Highland romance to have dialogue with more of a Scottish brogue and battle scenes full of swords, kilts and straining muscles. I loved the storyline and cannot wait to read the next book in this series.

  1. I can't wait for this one. I'm so glad a new author is coming out with a highland series! :)
    Great review by the way!
