Her Accidental Boyfriend by Robin Bielman Interview

Book Description:

Faking it with this flirt never felt so real...
Kagan Owens has a secret. One she thought she’d escaped by leaving New York, but when her past follows her to her temporary new life, Kagan lets a teeny lie slip. And now the town’s biggest playboy and flirt, Shane Sullivan, has become her pretend boyfriend—just until she’s ready to return to NYC. But the handsome, fun-loving Shane makes it tough to determine where their friendly agreement begins and ends…

Shane has no intention of settling down—in fact, his job depends on it, and nothing’s more important than his work. Still, he can’t help but agree to Kagan’s scheme, if only to find out more about the mysterious beauty. But when every touch from her sets his heart and body on fire, he realizes playing an accidental boyfriend may be more than he bargained for—and more than he can give.

About the Author:
Robin Bielman lives in Southern California with her high school sweetheart husband, two sons, and crazy-cute mini Labradoodle, Harry (named after Harry Dresden from Jim Butcher's Dresden Files books). When not attached to her laptop, she can almost always be found with her nose in a book. She also likes to run, hike, and dip her toes in the ocean. Filled with wanderlust, she longs to visit many different places and fulfill her curiosity. She wouldn’t mind indulging her sweet tooth in every location either. She’s a lover of Post-it notes, cable television shows and café mochas. Writing is a dream come true, and she still pinches herself to be sure it’s real.

Her other novels include Kissing the Maid of Honor, Worth the Risk, Risky Surrender and Yours At Midnight. She loves to connect with readers. Learn more and sign up for her newsletter on her website at http://robinbielman.com. She can also be found online here:

Have you ever come across a song that might fit the theme of one of your books? Yes, actually! Bruno Mars’ "Treasure" is the perfect song to go with my August release, Risky Surrender.

Do you remember what you felt when you had your first kiss? I do and it was horrible! It was with a boy I’d been crushing on forever, but he blew it when he shoved his tongue down my throat. It was wet and sloppy and just really yucky. My next one was much, much better. ;)

What do you do when you think nobody is watching? Well, since it’s October and we’ve already got Halloween candy in the house, I may sneak a few pieces. Or a lot. I knew I shouldn’t have bought it yet! I also might maybe watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

What was your favorite childhood book? When I was really young I loved The Velveteen Rabbit

What is your favorite addition to chocolate? Oh, this is hard considering I have a huge sweet tooth! I’m going to go with strawberries. I love chocolate covered strawberries.

Besides your own, what is one of your favorite series to keep up with? I LOVE Jill Shalvis’ Lucky Harbor series.

What do you think you would be doing if you weren't writing? Sleeping? LOL I actually work part-time in the medical field so I’d probably be doing something having to do with medicine. I also think it would be cool to do something sports related, like be a sports psychologist.
Do you have any hobbies or activities you enjoy doing? I love to run, hike, and take my dog, Harry for walks. I also love going to Starbucks. I think I can consider that a hobby since I’m there so often! It’s especially fun when I meet a friend there to write. Although we usually end up talking the whole time. My hubby and I also love to go to the movies.

What is something you do to de-stress? Read! I love to read and wish I had more hours in the day so I could do it more.

We all know about muses...what do you think inspires you to allow your creative juices flowing? Really, just spending some time away from my computer gives me the mental break I need to get my creative juices flowing. A run, time with family and friends, and drivingI know! Weird, huh? But I keep a notepad and pen handy for when an idea strikes while I’m in the carall can spark something, too.

    1. Hi Paula! Thank you. When I decided to have Kagan make bracelets, I actually did a little internet searching and found an artist overseas who makes the ones I describe in the book. :) Thanks so much for loving K&S! And than you for stopping here!
