Logan’s Acadian Wolves by Kym Grosso Interview

"Odd vampire, isn’t he?" Wynter noted.

"That he is. My gut tells me he abides by some code of honor, but don’t ever mistake him for anything but what he is," Logan warned.

"A monster?"

Logan smiled. "Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster."

She laughed. "Another quote?"

"Friedrich Nietzsche," Logan confirmed. He took her hands in his. "We have a few hours before it’s time to leave. I know I should be encouraging you to go relax, take a nap or something sensible like that."

"Relax, huh? How ‘bout a bubble bath? Or a massage?" She winked and dragged her finger down his chest.

"A bath sounds good to me as long as I’m in there with you." Logan pulled her flush to him, burying his head in her neck and growled. "You drive me crazy, do you know that? I can’t keep my hands off you."

Wynter giggled, growing aroused, loving the feel of his warm lips on her skin. She looked over to the table and gave him a sexy smile. "My Alpha," she began seductively. "You know, I just noticed that this is a really nice table. Sturdy. Long. Hard."

My Alpha? Logan’s cock thickened at her words. The table isn’t the only hard thing in this room, baby. He glanced to its wooden top then back to her with a smile.

"African mahogany. A friend custom made it for me. You like?"

"Oh I like. I mean, it looks very functional. I bet we could get a lot of work done at this table," she mused with a wink. Meeting his eyes, she gave him a suggestive smile and cocked her eyebrow. She slid her hand down between his legs and cupped his hard arousal. "You know, I always wondered what it would be like to be a secretary. I’ve been looking around here, and it seems you’re in need of some assistance."

Logan hissed, closing his eyes. Holy shit, that felt amazing.

"How about I fill in for your secretary today?" she asked. "I’m very good at dictation, sir."

Wynter had never in her life been so forward. But after making love to Logan, she craved him more than ever. As though she were addicted to a drug, she needed more. The warmth between her legs grew painful. Feeling flirtatious and horny, she didn’t think it would take very long to entice him into her fantasy.

Logan eyed Wynter, hardly believing he could be so lucky. His naughty little wolf wanted a romp in the office? Seriously? His brain said ‘no way’, but his burgeoning erection said, ‘hell yes’. He’d have to be careful not to get carried away. His wolf wanted this woman in the worst way, sought to claim her.

"Sweetheart, I don’t think you know what you’re askin’. My wolf, he’s restless." He gently nipped at her collarbone, as if to give her fair warning. If he took her, it was going to be rough and hard.

"But I do…I know exactly what I’m agreeing to." Wynter leaned into Logan and placed a kiss to his chin then dragged her tongue along his bottom lip and kissed him.

"Do you now?" Logan grabbed a fistful of her hair, gently pulling her head backwards. Revealing her neck, he licked at the hollow until she gasped.

Thanks so much for having me here today at Bitten By Love Reviews. I am so excited to have the opportunity to visit with you and your readers.

What is one of your favorite Myths/legends to write about?

Up until Luca’s book, I would have said vampires. They’re so mysterious, dark and sexy. But after writing about Tristan and Logan, I simply love wolves. It’s fun to create strong, Alpha males who ooze sex appeal, making you want to howl into the night with them.

If you could live back in time, what time period would you choose and why?

I have to say that I probably wouldn’t last a day in any other time period because I’m so completely spoiled with my cell phone, internet and simple things like air conditioning. That being said, I’d love to go back to the 1920s, so I could talk to my grandmother and great grandmother and learn more about my mother’s family. Even though my Aunt does a lot of genealogy work, a lot of what happened before they came to America has been lost.

When writing do you have a playlist of music you like to listen to? What are a couple songs on it?

I don’t have a playlist but I do like to listen to some Pitbull to get me up and writing. Lately, though, I’ve been listening to Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Katy Perry. Nothing like a little "Can’t Hold Us Down" or "Roar" to get you dancing.

What was your favorite childhood book?

Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.

What is your favorite addition to chocolate?

I am hopelessly addicted to chocolate. Lately, I’ve been on a low carb diet so my chocolate intake has been sadly reduced. If I had to pick one favorite chocolate dessert, it would probably be chocolate cheesecake with whipped cream. But on any given day, I’m happy with an organic milk chocolate bar. I know dark chocolate is better for me, but I love the creamy goodness of milk chocolate.

What does your husband/significant other say about your writing erotic stories? What about your family and/or do they read your books?

My husband loves it. LOL And when get time alone, which can be challenging with our busy schedules and life, I’ll read him the naughty passages from my books….for research, of course. *wink* He is very supportive and does provide me with great feedback about storylines and scenes. It’s important for me to get a man’s opinion on different scenes, how a hero might act or feel. As far as my family, I don’t have a huge extended family, but I’d say, in general, they’ve also been extremely supportive of my writing.

Besides your own, what is one of your favorite series to keep up with?

It is really hard to say, because there are so many great authors and series out there. JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood is one of my favorite paranormal romance series. It is an incredibly creative and emotional series of books. Tina Folsom’s Scanguards series is also a must read for me when it comes to paranormal romance. In other genres, Olivia Cunnings Sinners series is another favorite as well as Masters of the Shadowlands series by Cherise Sinclair. Victoria Danann’s Order of the Black Swan series is also a wonderful series. Victoria was probably the first author I wrote a fangirl letter to, because I’d just read My Familiar Stranger and that’s how we became friends. As I’m answering this question, I realize that, clearly, I haven’t and probably can’t choose just one.

What do you think you would be doing if you weren't writing?

My sixteen year old son is autistic, so I think if I weren’t writing, I’d pursue autism advocacy full time, probably working towards getting certified as an advocate. I’ve written and published many autism articles and also belong to many autism groups/organizations. If I weren’t writing, I’m certain, that in all aspects, I’d be doing more autism advocacy, perhaps working toward more systemic changes in school and adult services.

Do you have any hobbies or activities you enjoy doing?

I’m a wannabe tennis player who plays a few times a month with my friends but never finishes an actual game. I also love going to zumba classes and reading. But my favorite thing to do over the weekend is to relax with my husband on a Saturday night, finally getting some alone time with him after a busy week.

What is something you do to de-stress?

My favorite thing to do to de-stress would be to go get a massage. But since that’s more of a rare indulgence, I do try to exercise during the week to reduce stress. And if I’m honest, sometimes relaxing involves just unplugging…from everything: my cell phone, Facebook, email, Twitter.

We all know about muses...what do you think inspires you to allow your creative juices flowing?

I do spend a lot of time quietly thinking of how a chapter or scene is going to start. I literally have to just sit or lay there mulling over ideas, characters and conversations. Chapter one is always the hardest for me to write, but after that, it usually flows. I write a scene at time, but the words and actions of the characters have to be in my mind before I start. So when I’m writing it is like I can’t shut my mind off. Whether I’m at the gym or in the shower, I’m constantly thinking about what is going to happen in the next scene of my book, exactly how it’s going to play out and what the characters are going to say. It just goes on like that day after day until the book is finished.

Fun Facts (things the fans don't know)
I got married to my husband in Las Vegas with Elvis singing I Can’t Help Falling In Love with You and Viva Las Vegas.

I love to vacation in Jamaica; it’s awesome there.

Lastly, I’m an animal lover. We have a dog and cat both adopted from shelters. My parents let my brother and I have all kinds of animals in the house when we were growing up, including dogs, a cat, rabbits, a guinea pig, horses and a snake or two I found in the woods of course, the snakes pretty much had to go back into the woods where we’d found them. Mom didn’t let us keep those. Amazon US  Amazon UK  Amazon CA  Smashwords
