I loved this book! All I can say is the Carpathians are back with a twist and a vengeance. Ms. Feehan has another hit on her hands. Each time I think she can only spin the Carpathians so many ways....she proves me wrong and for that I am thankful. This book is part of her Carpathian series but you can read each and every one of them as a stand alone novel.
Tatijana of the Dragonseekers spent her whole life trapped in the ice with her sister. While her sister would rather remain in the ground, Tatijana would rather explore the land. She meets Fenris Dalka. The pair don't realize how much they have in common, until they both realize they are Carpathian.
Fenis is not just a Carpathian, he is also a wolf. A combination that can get him killed by either race. Fen and Tati go to the Prince and tell him of the new danger that has come to their homeland. Mikhail realizes that he needs Fen and his brother to help save them all.
It is only when the Carpathians work together with the wolves that they can protect their homeland from the pack of rogues that are hell bent on killing Mikhail and crumbling the Carpathian nation forever.
