Trevor will do anything to spark life back into Haven, including letting her into every aspect of his world. But as they grow closer, Haven stumbles onto Trevor’s closely guarded secret, one he’s hidden his entire life. And despite his protests, now it’s Haven’s turn to put everything on hold to help Trevor. Will he let her in and trust her with a secret that could blow his professional and personal world apart?
Holy Balls Batman! Jaci Burton sure knows how to make sports fascinating for those of us who aren't necessarily fanatics. This is the second book of this story that I've read and let me tell you it will not be the last. I'll definitely going back and catching up on the lives and loves of some of these super sexy sports stars. Trevor is amazingly talented and a genuinely nice guy because seriously he really did not have to set things in motion for the heroine. I loved his ego and confidence, he truly has the skills to back it up. Personally I found his cockiness quite attractive. Haven was so easy to relate to, she's at a place in her life where she's just existing, not living and thankfully Trevor steps in and suddenly she's passionate again and about more than just her job. Ms. Burton writes highly emotional, sexually explicit love stories and I for one am ever so grateful for them!
