5/5 Review: RUSH by Robin Covington

Atticus Rush used to work in special opts. He hides himself away in his cabin in the mountains because he doesn't care to be around other people. He ends up taking a case to help rescue a daughter of a U.S. Senator. Rush has a past with this little girl. He doesn't have to think twice when it comes to trying to help save this little girl's life. Little does he know, the one person they also brought onto the case is his ex wife Olivia Rutledge-Cairn.

Olivia has always enjoyed the challenge of stealing things. Her interest in stealing led her to a career in locating and retrieving rare and hard-to-find items by any means necessary. She will even do this illegally if the price is right. She agrees to work along side of the main she used to love that threaten to turn her in for her illegally activities.

They work together to help locate and rescue the girl. You can sense the tension between them at first, but you can also see that they truly never stopped caring for each other.

I really liked this book. The storyline kept me intrigued to see how things would play out. I love a good mystery to follow and watch everything fall into place. Robin Covington did a great job with this book. I loved the connection between Olivia and Atticus. You could feel the electricity between them. It didn't take long for them to rekindle their romance. I was excited when they finally gave into each other. It sure was a steamy read! I was bummed after their first time sleeping together when Olivia didn't want anything out of this except pure sex. The more they were around each other the harder it was to not give in again.

After the mission and the girl is safe, they go their separate ways. I have to say this made me crazy!! The little girl goes to see Rush and to bring him a picture she drew for him to thank him. Even she was confused why he wasn't together with Olivia. I love it because she ends up telling Rush that he should go to her before it's too late. That's exactly what he does! He ends up making the trip to find her. In the end she gives in too and they decide they still love each other and can't live without one another.

The who process to locate and find the missing little girl is great. The story is full of adventure and extremely steamy sex! The passion that Rush and Olivia share between them was very hot. I'm excited to see what else Robbin Covington has wrote! If it's anything like this book, I want to read more!
