Review: Untamed by Diana Palmer

As a fan of Ms Palmer for about 15 years, it is about time Rourke get to have his story told. That's right, I've been waiting anxiously and forever for him and once I got the book, I couldn't wait to open it and starts turning the pages. Cleaning and working be damned, it's time for some happy reading. From previous backstory, Rourke is a hard man who usually use humor to glamour his disability and problems. He's  flirtatious, sexy-to-the-max, and likes to live on the edge, not to mention the ladies love him and the men want to be him. But all his life, there is only one woman for him...Clarisse "Tat" Carrington.

If you are a reader of Diana Palmer, then you know her formula for writing the Long Tall Texan series taking place in Jacobsville, Texas. I don't know why I'm so addicted to this series but it could be the combination of raw love, the innocence of the women, and cowboys with issues they rather avoid than deal with it head on. And Rourke is no exception.

Rourke doesn't always say the right things, he have loved and lost, he worked hard at his job and love doing it. And like most Jacobsville men, Rourke also have secrets. The emphasis and the underlying mystery of what happened to Rourke will entice the readers as they flip the pages. For years, Rourke had believed a lie that kept him away from the one woman he wanted most in the world. He lives dangerously because he felt he had nothing to lose. But no matter how far he traveled, he's always the first one to be there for her whenever she needs him.

All her life, Clarisse have no idea why the man she idolized and loved, have so much hate for her. They were playmates when they were kids but she is a grown woman now, a woman with a tragic past and battle scars that hold her back from pursuing her dreams. And as hard as Clarisse tries to keep her distance, sparks as hot as the Texas sun fly between them.

Lies, deceit, danger...they both have experienced it all. But their biggest hurdle is the barrier of Love. Because love hurts and their love doesn't come easy, they will have to fight for it...even if it means risking their lives. Untamed is filled with love, action, hate, and a twist that will makes your heart goes BOOM! And this is why I love reading the Long Tall Texan. Ms Palmer's story is powerful and emotionally charged.
