  1. Favorite fairy tale for sure has always been Cinderella. I loved it as a kid, because I always hoped that one day my prince Charming would come for me. I never had a hard life, I just lived in a small neighborhood with not a lot of children. I always hoped that one day I would find someone and they would sweep me off my feet.
Thanks for the great giveaway. Love Lila's book. This one looks fantastic.

  3. I have to say that I've got a real soft spot for "Beauty and the Besst". For some reason, this poor tortured soul touches my heart and brings tears to my eyes.

I love how you portray these wonderful fairy tales and incorporate them into amazing and entertaining stories for us to devour.

Thank you for this great opportunity, I love your books Lila.

  12. My favorite fairy tale has always been Red Riding Hood. I don't know why it was when I was a kid but I guess now it is because I love PNR and this is a great story to base a PNR on (the hero or heroine being a wolf shifter/werewolf). But I have also always loved Rapunzel, I guess for the repetition and the fact that nothing can keep the hero from his princess.

  14. Congrats on one year! What a great way to celebrate, with Lila!

Beauty and the Beast, the best one. It can be applied to so many stories, the "beastly" man who learns how to love and give love in return, a strong heroic woman capable of breaking a spell. Love it. Though I admit that I am a fairy tale sucker, if a story is based on any fairy tale I am going to read it...can't seem to stop myself.

  16. Happy anniversary!

My favorite has to be beauty and the beast. It's all because of this fairy tale that I love reading about tortured heroes and the heroines that save them.

  17. Thumbalina was and is still my favorite. My grandma read it to me as a kid and it is now one of my daughters favorites.

  18. Despite being boyish I love the fairy tales specially Beauty and the Beast. During my childhood days, we (with my friends) used to play the roles of Beauty and the Beast. I usually get the role of Mrs. Potts since I like to sing (even thought my voice is really horrible) Plus I like Belle's gown, it's my favorite color and Belle and I have something in common, we both like books. :D

    Happy 1st Birthday!

  20. My favorite fairy tale has always been Sleeping Beauty. It was always such a sad and touching story. Sad that the princess Briar Rose had to spend 100 years in slumber but touching that a prince who doesn't even know Briar Rose enters the castle and breaks the curse and awakes the sleeping princess.

  21. I love all fairy tales, but if I had to pick one, it would definitely be Beauty and the Beast! It teaches a good lesson, and it's very romantic. At least the Disney version is!
