Homespun Christmas by Aimee Thurlo

To save her town
Independence, New Mexico, needs a lifeline, and Myka Solis is determined to provide one. She thinks her craft business can transform the dying town into a vibrant, creative hub. And she knows exactly the person who can help: Joshua Nez, the confident big-city architect who's back in town to rebuild his own life.

Thanks to Josh's expertise, Myka finds herself leading a revitalization effort that draws in the entire community. But working with Josh has to stay a business-only arrangement. Josh has dreams, too, and his involve opening an architecture firm far away from Independence. If only Myka can show him they both have a future in their hometown…together.

This is a well written and edited book. It is a book that can be enjoyed by all ages. The story is a believable one and the characters are well developed and likable. This story has heartwarming light romance, a smidgen of suspense and believable characters. This is a sweet romance full of love and kindness. The book draws you in to a world where true love and sweet timeless marriages really do exist. You will become a part of an extended family that you won't want to let go of.

Although the relationship between the two main characters didn't go entirely smoothly, they did find love very quickly and with someone very deserving of their love. My personal experience is that it can indeed happen in just that way. I read the book in a day because I enjoyed it so much. The author has a very easy style about her writing, and the story had plenty to keep you wondering what would happen next.  I'd really recommend this book to lovers of a good romance.
