Shadows Strike is the 6th book in the Immortal Guardians Series by Dianne Duvall. I havent had a chance to read every book in this series, but after reading Shadows Strike I will definitely be rectifying that. This book was fantastic, having everything that you would want in a book. It was beautifully written and I cant wait until book 7 is released. Absolutely loved it!
Heather is our heroine of the story; she is beautiful, talented and for the past year has been having some seriously sexy dreams every night revolving around a sexy looking vampirish guy and a battle for humanity. When her dreams invade her reality and become true she meets our hero of the story in the form of Ethan; super sexy and lives to protect Heather. The battle of earth has began and Heather is thrown right into the middle of it. Immortals, vampires and humans all battle it out in this intense story.
In this story we have several types of characters, but without confusing any new readers to this series I will simply put it into these categories. We have humans, talented humans like Heather who have special powers. In Heather's case she is telepathic. Then we have Vampires, who have been turned into these creatures by the Vampire Virus. Then there is Ethan; hot sexy Immortal; gifted when he was turned by the Vampire Virus. There is also lots of “other” nasty categories that I will let you sink your teeth into when you start reading this fabulous series.
We have action, suspense, bad guys, good guys, sexiness and lots of drool worthy Immortals that you cheer on and ponder how soon they will find their love.
