4/5 Review: NECESSARY RISK by Tara Wyatt

Debuting her talent, Wyatt’s first book in the Bodyguard series is a tour de force of emotional complexity and striking depth. As a hired bodyguard, Sean Owens is all about business and he’s a stickler for rules, at least that’s what he keeps telling himself. Blake isn’t the love them and leave them type but he had his fair share of women. He is a man of integrity and pride himself on being professional when it comes to female clients. However, keeping his hands off the beautiful Sierra is easier said than done.

Sierra is smart, driven, compassionate, and doesn’t give in to bullying. But due to her choice of contribution, a dark and evil syndicate group is trying to overthrow her with threats and a few choice of accidents. So after a near death experience, Sierra knows she will need professional help to stay alive…and Sean is just the man she wants to protect her.

I really enjoy Necessary Risk, it is full of love and adventures. The book started out on a steady pace and the mysterious accidents keeps my eyes glued constantly to the book. By the time I realized it, it was 4:00 a.m in the morning. As a mew reader, I applause Miss Wyatt for her outstanding writing and development of characters. I am looking forward to the next installment of the Bodyguard series, and will add it to my expanding book collection of Romantic Suspense.
