Review: Total Surrender by Rebecca Zanetti

A fight he must win . . .

Piper Oliver knows she can't trust him. They warned her that the tall, dark, and sexy black-ops soldier Jory Dean would try to win her over with his steel-gray eyes and deadly charm, but she won't be conned by this man they call a traitor. All she has to do is figure out the science necessary to save his life, and she's done. Something isn't adding up, though, and she won't rest until she uncovers the truth-even if it's buried in his deep, dangerous kiss.

A passion she can't resist . . .

Jory will do anything to reunite with and save his brothers-even kidnap the gorgeous woman who's working to deactivate the deadly chip in their spines. But the forces determined to destroy his family won't let them go so easily. Keeping Piper alive is more than he bargained for-and so is his burning desire for her. But with every second bringing him closer to certain death, can he afford to lose himself in her hot and willing embrace?

Total Surrender is the 4th in the Sin Brothers series by Rebecca Zanetti.  It is the first that I have read in the series.  I will be going back to read the other 3 to see what happened before.  It stands well on it's own, but I felt I was missing some of the back story.  That being said I loved this book.

The novel is packed full of action, intrigue, mystery, suspense, and romance.  In this one we get to know Jory, the youngest of the Dean Brothers.  They men were born in a lab, and trained from birth to be killers for a man called the Commander.  I understand having not read the series that Jory is presumed dead, however he has been in a coma for 2 years.   Time is now ticking for the brothers, there is a Kill chip placed near their spines that is set to go off in a week.

Enter Jory's love interest, Piper - she is a hacker of epic proportions and has been blackmailed into working for the Commander - she thinks to keep her out of jail. Turns out the Commander is her Father.  She is brought in to help turn off the chips before they explode killing the brothers.  Piper has been told that Jory is a traitor and sold information to the Russians.

When Piper meets Jory through a glass prison cell, they both feel instant chemistry.  Jory ignores the chemistry and decides to use Piper to escape and find a way to save his brothers.  The twists and turns are amazing, the chemistry is visceral.

If you are looking for a book full of action, suspense, and romance, this is definitely worth it.
